£1,023 raised for Finni’s Ark Animal Sanctuary

Our recent Open Day raised over £1,000 for Finni's Ark Animal Sanctuary - thank you to everyone who came out to make it happen.

It was a sunny day for it too - warm enough that Curtis came away with a bit of sunburn.

Visitors watched everything from steam engines to modern electric trains running through the garden, with plenty of interest in the detail on the rolling stock.

The real highlight was what it raised for a good cause - through entry fees and refreshments, we raised £1,023 that will go towards providing care and support for our furry friends in need.

Thank you to the volunteers who helped organise the day and keep the trains running smoothly - we couldn't do it without you.
